Fight for Hab-block 22
***File T91-Vox-vid capture--SECURITAS: Adeptus Maxima-INQ:Quintus Severus***
***My lord, the consolidation of the Cult of Divine Illumination into new territory has been stalled, I thought you had to know. High Magister Jacob was personally supervising the indoctrination of locals and the Demolition Crew had been brought in to assist in the recovery of damaged structures.
On cycle 0208.999 at around nineteen hours interlopers were spotted in the area. Their highh-tech weaponry and stealth equipment clearly marked them as Spyrers.
Two of them darted forward, disabled one of the Demolition Crew's engine and moved into cover, getting closer to Hab-block 22.
We had taken position in there and gunned down two other attackers, but one managed to flew in.
Pinned down by the flying attacker, we were not able to stop the other two from reaching the Hab-block.
They were far superior to us and we rather left the Hab-block to them. However, after stealing various pieces of machinery they disappeared. This is slowing the Cult's progress in the area, but the Magisters don't seem willing to leave it. Agent LVC, end of report.
Alone in the Dark

***Rumours of a recent 'miracle' linked to the Guardian reached Inquisitor QS on the early hours of cycle 0216.999. By thirteen hundred hours, the Inquisitor and a selected escort reached the Shambles, apparently the site of the miracle. As soon as the retinue tried to push through the underhivers crowding the local market, gun shots rung and the power went down. Darkness and the rush of the panicked crowd scattered Severus' retinue. [ADDENDA: this pattern of creating panic is consistent with Lenk's belief that humanity must be tested under the most straining condition {REF: Isstvanian Doctrine}. I suspect he was responsible for the sabotage. INQ: QS].
Servitor XA-305 and local recruit Dexter found themselves a few meters away from each other, close to a hydro-processing plant. XA-305 remained there, securing evidence in the plant bar facilities. Kasander the Delphite and Rogue Trader Tirpnitz were pushed further, towards Silo B-45.
Inquisitor Lenk's men were similarly scattered, trying to regroup through the darkness.
Tarkloth and Fishgutter moved to secure a piece of machinery abandoned by the crowd. A moon-masked bounty hunter stepped onto Dexter's sights. In spite of the darkness, the ganger gunned the hostile down. Lenk himself secured potential evidence in an abandoned shop.
The plasma failure of Lenk's floating servitor provided enough light for Inquisitor Severus to reach the area and download vid-captures from a secutrity device.
Recordarium Itzhak also made it to the area, charging Fishgutter in an attempt to wrest the machinery from the ganger. The heroic scrivener engaged in protacted combat with the ganger. Only the intervention of not one, but two of his companions prevented Fishgutter from being dispatched.
Balthasar Tirpnitz opened fire on Lenk's men to support Itzhak. Tarkloth went down, but gang leader Lensen felled Itzhak while Fishgutter returned fire.
The Rogue Trader went down, but Kasander, shielded by psychic illusion was able to secure another recording device.
Severus run for the shop were Lenk was still searching for evidence. Realising the odds were against him, Lenk grabbed what he could and called for a retreat.
Valuable evidence has been collected. Inquisitor Severus is currently analysing the data stream. Recordarium Itzhak, end of report.
Dexter, Itzhak and Kasander
I've been busy, both work- and hobby-wise, lately. I've managed to complete a hiveganger, an Inquisitorial menial and an Astropath, and I've started work on some more henchmen. But without any further ado, here you have the completed models.
Dexter
A techy of some renown, Dexter owns a small workshop in the Moss Slide sector of Mancunius Dome and regularly offers his services as a Heavy to the local orlock gang known as Santiago's Tugs. He was offered a place in Severus' retinue to provide local knowledge and an operational headquarter. Dexter did not think twice about accepting the offer, especially since the shrewd Inquisitor offered him access to the PDF armoury uphive. A shiny new plasmagun and a few more priceless trinkets were indeed well worthy the annoyance of having the workshop requisitioned.
Kasander
Kasander hails from the Delphos Confraternity, a smaller order within the Astra Telepathica. Its members hide their faces behind gilded masks and replace the Astra Telepathica badge of office with an Asp, symbolising the flow of time, which the Delphites aim to master, through the study of ancient history and the scrying of the future. With his usual rational attitude, Severus denies any rumours that he keeps the Astropath with him as Kasander saw the last living moments of the Inquisitor through the veil of the Warp. Yet, a faint light glimmers behind Kasander's mask every time these rumours are voiced.
Itzhak
A malformed midget, Itzhak serves Severus as Recordarium. Cyber-engineered to plug with two servoskulls, he instantly transcribes their vid-captures into reports. He thinks of himself as the most important member of the retinue, tasked with the sacred duty of recording Severus' exploits for posterity. While the other henchmen barely suffer this attitude, Severus secretly laughs at the midget, knowing that his only function is to prevent the servoskulls carrying locator beacons to float away as bullets start flying.
Forward push

***My lord I have developments to report. As instructed I've joined the Cult of the Divine Illumination. Their Magisters' preaching are complex and cryptic and I still don't have any evidence to link the Cult to the Guardian. However, the Cult is moving. At 12 hundred hours, cycle 0203.999, I've been asked to join a raiding party attcking Van Saar territory. Magister Silas led the party and he took the Ratskin Nobody and Brother Marc with him to move onto a ruined manufactorum.
I was assigned to another group, moving through ruins towards what the locals call the Shrine.
Deacon Martin had taken position high on Hab-block 22 to provide cover fire.
Newton Heath and his Skinnymen emerged from nearby structures and moved to bar our way. The renegade Techpriest Dalton was with the main Skymymen party, probably leading them on a tech-search as they rushed to secure a piece of machinery.
Silas' group came under fire as a Skinnymen emerged from the sewers.
Silas dealt with the threat in his usual over-zealous style, chanting praises to their Master and hacking the Van Saar infiltrator. The rest of his group moved to secure a still functioning cogitator in the manufactorum.
My group took position in the ruins and laid a suppressing fire attempting to slow Dalton and the Skinnymen headed for the Shrine. They reached it nonetheless.
As we stormed the Shrine, Brother Marc and Nobody doused Heath and his men with close-range lasfire.
At this point, the Skinnymen retired, leaving the entire area in the Cult's control. I will report soon on their activities in this area. Agent LVC, end of report***
Silo B45
One more industrial structure for the on-going InquisiTeam campaign I'm playing with Warboss Kurgan.
This time, unlike with the previous terrains for Mancunius Dome, I've remembered I have a stash of vehicle transfers and I've used some to add a bit more details to the piece.
